Policy för missbruk

This Abuse Policy ("Policy") sets out the standards of acceptable conduct on the Unrive platform and defines the types of behaviour that constitute abuse, misuse, or violations of our community and operational guidelines. By accessing or using Unrive at unrive.io, you agree to comply with this Policy in addition to our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy. Unrive is committed to maintaining a safe, transparent, and trustworthy environment for all users.

1. Syftet med denna policy

Syftet med denna policy mot missbruk är att:

  • Define what constitutes abusive, harmful, or prohibited behaviour on the Unrive platform
  • Skydda användare, personal och integriteten hos våra tjänster från missbruk
  • Establish clear procedures for reporting abuse and the steps Unrive will take in response
  • Ensure compliance with applicable Canadian federal law and Ontario provincial legislation governing online platforms and financial services

2. Förbjudet beteende

The following activities are strictly prohibited on the Unrive platform and may result in immediate account suspension, permanent termination, and referral to law enforcement authorities:

2.1 Ekonomiskt missbruk och bedrägeri

  • Insättning av medel som erhållits på olagliga sätt, inklusive stöld, bedrägeri eller penningtvätt
  • Using stolen, fraudulent, or unauthorised payment methods to fund an account

  • Opening multiple accounts to circumvent platform limits, restrictions, or verification requirements
  • Submitting false or forged identity documents during the KYC verification process
  • Deltagande i chargeback-bedrägerier genom att bestrida legitima transaktioner med din betalningsleverantör

2.2 Konto- och systemmissbruk

  • Attempting to gain unauthorised access to other users' accounts or platform infrastructure
  • Using automated bots, scripts, or scraping tools to interact with the platform without prior written authorisation
  • Introducera skadlig programvara, virus eller annan skadlig kod i plattformens system
  • Exploiting technical vulnerabilities, bugs, or errors for personal gain or to cause harm to other users
  • Disrupting platform availability through denial-of-service attacks or similar methods
  • Reverse engineering, dekompilering eller försök att extrahera proprietär källkod eller algoritmer

2.3 Missbruk av identitet och identitetsstöld

  • Impersonating Unrive staff, representatives, or other users in any form of communication
  • Creating fake profiles or accounts using another person's identity or personal information
  • Användning av en tredje parts personliga eller finansiella information utan deras uttryckliga samtycke
  • Felaktig framställning av din identitet, plats eller behörighet att få tillgång till plattformen

2.4 Kommunikationsmissbruk

  • Skicka skräppost, oönskade reklammeddelanden eller nätfiskemeddelanden till andra användare eller personal
  • Harassing, threatening, intimidating, or abusing Unrive support staff or other users
  • Spreading false, misleading, or defamatory information about Unrive, its staff, or its services
  • Använda kränkande, diskriminerande eller hatbaserat språk i all kommunikation med plattformen
  • Försök att manipulera eller tvinga supportpersonal att bryta mot plattformens policyer

2.5 Överträdelser av regler och lagar

  • Using the platform in any jurisdiction where doing so is prohibited under local, national, or international law
  • Engaging in any activity that violates Canadian anti-money laundering (AML) legislation, including the Proceeds of Crime (Money Laundering) and Terrorist Financing Act (PCMLTFA) and applicable FINTRAC reporting requirements
  • Using Unrive to facilitate transactions connected to terrorism, sanctions evasion, or organised crime
  • Violating any applicable securities laws, financial regulations, or consumer protection statutes under Canadian or Ontario law

3. Rapportering av övergrepp

Unrive takes all reports of abuse seriously. If you witness or experience any behaviour that violates this Policy, we encourage you to report it promptly through the following channels:

All abuse reports are handled with strict confidentiality. The identity of the reporting user will not be disclosed to the subject of the report unless required by law.

4. Utredningsprocessen

Upon receiving an abuse report or identifying suspicious activity through our internal monitoring systems, Unrive will:

  • Bekräfta mottagandet av rapporten inom 2 arbetsdagar
  • Genomför en grundlig och opartisk intern utredning
  • Apply interim protective measures where necessary, including temporary account restrictions
  • Kommunicera resultat och eventuella vidtagna åtgärder till den rapporterande parten där så är lämpligt
  • Slutför utredningen inom 10 arbetsdagar för standardärenden, eller längre för komplexa ärenden som kräver myndighetsinblandning.

Unrive reserves the right to request additional information from any party involved in an investigation. Failure to cooperate may result in account suspension.

5. Konsekvenser av övergrepp

Depending on the nature, severity, and frequency of the violation, Unrive may take one or more of the following actions:

  • Varning: ett formellt skriftligt meddelande som skickats till användarens registrerade e-postadress
  • Tillfällig avstängning: begränsning av kontoåtkomst under en bestämd period i avvaktan på utredning
  • Permanent uppsägning: oåterkallelig stängning av kontot med förlust av eventuella utestående förmåner eller bonusar
  • Fondavdrag: frysning av kontosaldon i avvaktan på efterlevnadsgranskning eller rättsliga förfaranden
  • Rättsliga åtgärder: hänskjutande av ärendet till relevanta brottsbekämpande myndigheter, finansiella tillsynsmyndigheter eller juridisk rådgivning
  • Regelbunden rapportering: mandatory disclosure of suspicious activity to FINTRAC, the RCMP, or other applicable Canadian authorities

Unrive will not provide refunds or compensation to users whose accounts are terminated due to verified abuse or policy violations.

6. Nolltolerans mot ekonomisk brottslighet

Unrive maintains a zero-tolerance policy toward money laundering, terrorist financing, fraud, and all forms of financial crime. We actively monitor platform activity using automated detection systems and conduct regular manual reviews. All suspicious activity is reported to the appropriate regulatory bodies in compliance with Canadian federal law, including:

  • The Financial Transactions and Reports Analysis Centre of Canada (FINTRAC)
  • The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP)
  • The Financial Consumer Agency of Canada (FCAC)
  • The Ontario Securities Commission (OSC) and other applicable provincial regulators

7. Skydd mot repressalier

Unrive strictly prohibits retaliation against any user who reports abuse in good faith. Any user found to be retaliating against a reporting party — through harassment, threats, false counter-reports, or any other means — will be subject to immediate account termination and potential legal action. We are fully committed to ensuring that all users feel secure in reporting concerns without fear of adverse consequences.

8. Missbruk av supporttjänster

Our customer support team is dedicated to providing professional, timely assistance to all Unrive users. The following behaviours directed at support staff are considered abuse and will not be tolerated:

  • Använda hotfullt, kränkande eller diskriminerande språk
  • Att skicka in upprepade, oseriösa eller ondskefulla supportförfrågningar som är utformade för att slösa resurser
  • Försök att manipulera, tvinga eller lura supportmedarbetare att bryta mot plattformens policyer
  • Inspelning eller publicering av supportinteraktioner utan föregående skriftligt medgivande

Unrive reserves the right to limit or terminate support access for users who repeatedly abuse our support services.

9. Third-Party Abuse Involving Unrive

If you become aware of any third party misusing the Unrive name, brand, or identity — including phishing websites, impersonation scams, or unauthorised use of our trademarks — please report it immediately to [email protected]. We take brand abuse seriously and will pursue appropriate legal action to protect our users and our reputation.

10. Uppdateringar av denna policy

Unrive reserves the right to update or amend this Abuse Policy at any time to reflect changes in our services, technology, or applicable legal requirements. Material changes will be communicated to users via email or a prominent notice on the platform at least 7 days before taking effect. Continued use of the platform following any update constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
